City of Fort Valley Announces Launch of Municipal Complex Construction Process

Fort Valley, GA -Mayor Jeffery Lundy proudly announces that the City of Fort Valley has officially begun the process toward constructing the new Municipal Complex-an important step in strengthening the City’s infrastructure, enhancing public services, and supporting long-term community growth.

The Municipal Complex will serve as a centralized hub for key City operations, streamline government services, and provide a modern facility designed to meet the evolving needs of Fort Valley residents. This project reflects the City’s strong commitment to operational efficiency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

At this stage, the City has started developing the Request for Proposals (RFP) for
Architectural and Engineering (A&E) Services, which will be used to secure qualified firms to design the Municipal Complex. The RFP process ensures transparency, competitive pricing, and the selection of experienced professionals who will deliver high-quality planning and design work

“We are excited to take this significant first step toward building a state-of-the-art
Municipal Complex for the citizens of Fort Valley,” said Mayor Jeffrey Lundy. “This project represents progress, accountability, and our continued investment in the future of our
community.”

The City will release additional updates as the RFP process moves forward, including timelines, opportunities for public input, and future milestones in the construction and development phases.
