The City of Fort Valley’s Warming Space will officially close on February 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. As this important effort comes to a close, we want to speak directly to our community.
During this time of inclement weather, Fort Valley showed what it truly means to stand together. This has been a historic moment for our city — one rooted in compassion, service, and genuine care for one another.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our churches, community organizations, businesses, volunteers, community stakeholders, and residents who stepped forward to serve. Your generosity, donations, and willingness to help ensured that our neighbors were supported with dignity and warmth.
This effort would not have been possible without you. Your love, commitment, and compassion have made a lasting impact.
